Our Farm
We own and operate a small, 50-acre farm in the heart of the Texas Hill Country in Wimberley, Texas, where we grow many varieties of exotic (rare and unique peppers not commonly found in local markets) and traditional hot peppers.
Located near the gin-clear waters of the Blanco River, our hot peppers are grown using sustainable and organic farming methods.
All our hot pepper products are produced in limited quantities, meticulously hand-crafted in small batches to ensure every jar and bottle meets our exacting standards and reflects our artisan, farm-to-table approach.
During pepper season, we also harvest and sell fresh exotic peppers in bulk across the country.

Our Story
David learned the art of growing hot peppers and making pepper sauces and jellies from Dr. Ron Tilton (a retired professor at the University of Texas Medical Branch) who has grown and cultivated hot peppers for several decades. Working as a farm hand in the pepper fields for several years, David developed a passion and expertise about hot peppers under the watchful eye of Dr. Ron. In 2020, David joined Dr. Ron as a partner in Hill County Hot Peppers. As a side-note, David fell in love with Dr. Ron’s daughter, who he married in 2022.
Today, in a tradition of family excellence, Hill County Hot Peppers produces small-batch hot pepper sauces and jellies using a diverse range of exotic and traditional hot pepper varietals.
